100% Renewable Practices
At Kanak Naturals, we use bamboo and sugarcane (bagasse) to create our dinnerware due to their rapid renewability and low environmental impact. Bamboo regenerates every 4 to 4.5 years, much faster than hardwoods, while sugarcane stalks, otherwise destined for landfills, are repurposed into high-quality molded fiber dinnerware after juice extraction. This process effectively reduces waste and utilizes the inherent strength of these materials, producing responsibly sourced, durable products.
Reclaim, Recycle, Reuse
All our products are BPI Certified, meaning they're fully compostable in commercial facilities. This certification is part of our dedication to creating products with a lifecycle that considers environmental impact from start to finish. Even if composting isn't available, choosing our products contributes to a significant reduction in plastic and foam use, propelling us towards a more sustainable future.
Reduce Ocean Plastics
We're expanding our presence with Pakway, our new UK facility focused on transforming recycled PET (rPET) into high-quality, food-grade containers, thereby reducing our use of new synthetic resources. As a certified provider in the Ocean-Bound Plastic program, we actively combat marine pollution by crafting packaging from reclaimed ocean-found PET bottles, enhancing our commitment to ecological health.
